Dating remued pottery

Large 5, small 0 Shop 271958 - 1962 pair slipcast earthenware pottery Rams heads vases which, when filled with water/flowers, have sufficient weight to work effectively as bookends. Decorated both sides with profuse sprays of flannel flowers. Star fracture to centre of base, but remains watertight. Diameter at widest point (spout to handle) is 23 cm.
Others include Xianrendong and Diaotonghuan in Jiangxi Province and Miaoyan in Guangxi Province.
Over the years, researchers have found the remains of deer, boar, birds, tortoises and fish in these caves.
They were all hand decorated earthenware and were fitted with Swiss movement mechanisms in the base of the jug.
